LUMAPROBE POLICY

Cookie and local-storage policy

Essential browser storage and optional analytics and advertising choices used by LumaProbe.

Essential functions

LumaProbe can store a language preference, the visitor’s consent choice and locally saved speed-test history. These functions allow the selected language to persist, prevent the optional-services prompt from appearing on every visit and keep results on the same device. The public tests work without accepting optional advertising or analytics.

The administrator area uses session storage and a security token to protect sign-in and form submissions. That storage is necessary for the operator function and is not used to create public user accounts.

Optional services

When enabled by the site operator and accepted through the LumaProbe analytics prompt, Google Analytics may measure site use. Choosing “Essential only” prevents LumaProbe from loading that analytics script during the saved consent state.

Google AdSense privacy and consent choices are handled through Google’s certified Privacy & messaging platform when advertising is enabled. Advertising containers are not displayed when AdSense is disabled or incomplete. The site operator must configure the appropriate European and other regional messages in AdSense before serving ads.

Change or clear the choice

Browser controls can clear cookies and local storage for lumaprobe.com. Doing so removes the saved consent choice, language and any local test history, so the prompt may return. Browser privacy or content-blocking settings can also prevent optional services from operating.
